The All-New 370Z

The all All-New 370 has been redesigned in a dramatic fashion and has been overwhelming well received by casual fans and enthusiasts alike. The 370Z replaced the 350Z in 2008, continuing the success of Nissan’s celebrated sports car series. The base model comes with a 6-speed manual transmission, but a 7-speed automatic is also available. The 370Z comes with a 332 horsepower 3.7-liter V6 engine and yields 26 miles per gallon on the highway. Notably, the 6-speed offers a synchronized downshift rev matching system, the first vehicle to offer such a technology. The Touring model comes with more features including heated seats, Bluetooth, an 8-speaker Bose sound system, and aluminum pedals, among others. The 370Z’s styling evolves from that of the 350Z. Performance-wise, since it rides on a shorter wheelbase and uses more lightweight materials hence netting a lighter curb weight, the 370Z is much improved in all aspects: cornering, acceleration, and braking. Two other model variations are also available: the Roadster, featuring a fully automatic cloth top, and a NISMO model, which offers 350 horsepower, a racing-inspired exterior and interior design, and lightweight alloy wheels. Beginning in the spring of 2010, a special 40th Anniversary Edition will be available featuring distinct styling such as red leather seats, special seatback embroidery, exterior badging and more. In December 2009, the 370Z was named Best Resale Value in its class by Kelley Blue Book, recognizing the vehicle’s ability to retain its value. Fontana Nissan has plenty of 370Z in its inventory.
